Three quick updates from MoonDAO

Hey Reader,

We've got a couple quick MoonDAO updates for you in this week's Mooney Monday:

1) Sweepstakes Selection

Thanks to all who entered for a chance to win an opportunity to go to space. Nearly 2,000 Tickets to Space were distributed, which means that everyone has pretty amazing odds of winning. If you entered, please doublecheck your entries and the associated name, which should be your full legal name. If there are any issues, please contact us at support@moondao.com.

We're planning to do a livestream as we select the grand prize winner live and on-chain! Be sure to mark your calendars for January 25th at 5pm PST for this super special event as we learn who MoonDAO's second astronaut will be! This is such a huge milestone for MoonDAO, so don't miss it.

2) Doug Hurley on MoonDAO Live

We've got NASA & SpaceX astronaut Doug Hurley 🤯 on MoonDAO Live this Friday (1/19) at 12pm EST. Let us know any questions you'd love to ask, give the X post a like and share, and set a reminder to join!

Doug piloted Space Shuttle missions STS-127 & STS-135, the final shuttle flight. He flew to space for the 3rd time as commander of Crew Dragon Demo-2. Demo-2 was the first crewed spaceflight from American soil since STS-135 and Doug became, together with Bob Behnken , the first astronaut in history launching aboard a commercial orbital spacecraft.

Doug will be joining us on our ZeroG flight alongside NASA astronaut Nicole Stott and Apollo 16 legend and moonwalker Charlie Duke. There are still a few seats available if you want to join us at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

3) Less than 24 Hours to Vote

There are less than 24 hours to vote on our latest proposal, MDP-123: MoonDAO Makerspace at Vitalia.

Vitalia.city is a Zuzalu inspired pop up city held January 6 to the end of March gathering 200 top entrepreneurs to co-live and co-work. The topics include longevity, crypto cities, and AI.

Vitalia is hosted in Prospera, a special economic zone on the island of Roatan in Honduras freeing tech innovators from burdensome regulation.

Though the focus of this inaugural Vitalia is on biotech, Prospera does prioritize innovative aeronautics such as the Drone Delivery Service HUB.

This proposal is to support a makerspace/hackerspace in Prospera during Vitalia in partnership with MoonDAO for a total cost of 5,000 DAI.
